The Fangchenggang offshore wind Power Demonstration project is the largest single installed capacity under construction in China and the first zero-subsidy affordable offshore wind power project in China. It is invested and constructed by Guangxi Energy Co., LTD., the only listed energy enterprise directly under Guangxi, which is controlled by Guangxi Energy Group, a subsidiary of Guangdong Investment Group. After the full capacity of the project is put into operation, the annual online power will exceed 5 billion KWH, which can meet the basic electricity consumption of nearly 5 million households, and will drive a number of offshore wind power equipment industry and related industries to land, industrial investment of more than 20 billion yuan, to achieve the completion of a project, drive a number of industries, and promote the large-scale and intensive development of Guangxi’s offshore wind power industry.
